Matched-Speed  Aircraft Landings and Take-Offs ...

The low drag of the HARTH ship allows for very fast surface speeds.  With such routine speed capability, the Hydro Lance ship can travel at a 'match-speed' of a landing jet aircraft. The capability effectively stretches the 'landing strip' to an infinite length, allowing for smaller carriers doing the same job.  The unique ultra-stability of these HARTH ships provides for a landing deck that is free of pitch, heave, roll, sway or yaw.  The full flight control and power of the aircraft is maintained until after jet's wheels kiss the deck's landing zone.  'Specially designed HARTH systems control ground-effects, then captures the landing gear while other systems afford the safe exit of the pilot to debriefing and the safe storage of the aircraft.  This capability affords such landings and take-off 's even in, and through, elevated sea-states.  Several aircraft or drones may land or take-off simultaneously from where they stand.

Above: The smaller HARTH Super-Speed Corsair-Class, Drone and/or Aircraft Carrier... at 2,000 Gross Tons with Speeds above 130 Knots, this platform may be finished as a DRONE Carrier, forward command center or Cutter.  The matched-speed of this vessel, to landing aircraft provides an 'infinitely long flight deck'  for matched-speed landings and take-offs.  The landing gear wheels, land-based or Naval, kiss the flight-deck for gear capture. This is also an ideal platform for the Cross Bow study Program. Such drones or aircraft are at flight speed on the flight deck when taking off; the pilot or operator could pull the aircraft straight up to the skies, if desired.  Our design team can incorporated visual, audio, RF and IR stealth capabilities.  The HARTH Technology means no roll, pitch, heave, yaw or sway of the ship ...

Above: Unparalled HARTH stability, rescue and recovery technologies provides for heavy-lift ships to be fully operational in elevated sea-states.  Shown is the ocean-recovery of the Orion capsule of the NASA Constellation Project, upon return to earth.  'Certainly a critical, but light-load for this heavy-lift vessel.  The cross-sectional look at this heavy-lift vessel demonstrated the safety and speed of rescue in critical conditions. The vessels 80 Knot speed rating through elevated sea-states, provides for first-response to deviations of targeted set-down location coordinates.
