The left side of the graph shows an exampled vessel in beam sea -  Note: the worse condition of the HARTH ship, shown in this beam sea, is with the prime-power having failed - only a maximum five degree of roll.  The conventional ship, on the right side of the graph, appears to be in trouble on a steep roll.
